the_rewatch_jobOur final episode of season 1 and I fail at posting in the morning. The weather changes have bothbody and brain a tad discombobulated.
Today we're watching and commenting about season 1 episode 13 - The Second David Job. Expect spoilers for episodes 1-12 in the comments.

Date: 2020-07-04 09:20 pm (UTC)There was a lot of very fast talking over why Nate did not tell Maggie that his insurance claim had been refused—because, seriously, Nate, wtf? He didn't want her to hate him for... what? Finding a treatment (that his employer wouldn't pay for)? Working for a mean insurance company (that she also worked for)? I did not re-listen to that bit but they slapped on the heavy emotion to cover the bizarre logic.
I love the mean part with Dr Lloyd being dosed, having his glasses swapped etc. Poor little chap. And the actual robbery was very clever. Satisfying emotional conclusion for Nate.
I think Sophie owed the team an *actual* apology, and I don't really understand why they didn't get one.
